I have been a portrait photographer based in Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan for over 8 years. We moved to the U.P. to begin our little hobby farm with a few horses and a couple of dogs. My favorite days are spent riding horses, taking walks with our dogs, sitting on our deck watching the hummingbirds race between feeders, and watching the black bears sit quietly in the dark.

I think that a photo session should be fun, laid back, and painless! I want you to leave the session looking forward to not only your photos but also your next session with me. Your photos should tell your story, who you are, what you love and where you are heading. During your wedding or photo session, I am the calm that asks, “Chaos? What chaos?”. I am confident we will get the perfect collection of photos and I don’t stop until we do!

I love my home in Michigan but my soul longs for adventure! I want to go out west to see the Wild horses, the buffalo, the mountains and everywhere in between.
